Long Term Resident (LTR) Visa
The visa allows holders to live and work in Thailand for up to ten years and provides a host of benefits, including access to healthcare, education and the ability to open a bank account. Thailand is a very attractive destination for professionals working “from anywhere”. This new visa program is expected to attract new foreign residents, technology and talent, stimulating domestic spending and investment while supporting economic growth.

Categories
LTR visas will be offered to four categories of foreigners:
High net worth global citizens, wealthy retirees, professionals
working in Thailand, and highly skilled professionals.
Spouses and dependents of LTR visa holders are also eligible
for the same visas.

Wealthy Citizens of the World
Wealthy individuals who own assets and investments in Thailand worth at least US$1 million.

Wealthy retirees
Pensioners aged 50 years and over with an annual pension or stable income

Remote employees
Remote employees working for reputable companies abroad

Professionals
Professionals and experts with higher education,
working for highly qualified business structures or higher education institutions or research centers or specialized
educational institutions

Dependents
Spouses and children under 20 of LTR visa holders
